Don Lee Tire Safety Article
Don Lee, P.E., has 22 years of tire development, design, and analysis experience. He began his career with Hankook Tire and was involved with manufacturing specifications and in service performance for improvement.
At the Akron Technical Center, Mr. Lee focused on Passenger and Light Truck Radial products. His OE involvement with Ford Motor Company resulted in successful engineering qualification and production sourcing.
Mr. Lee managed the Overseas Technical Centers with Hankook where he worked with organizations in China. In addition to providing expert opinion on tire failure, Mr. Lee offers Finite Element Analysis on Tire Failure, which includes 3D Modeling for Subject Tire, 3D Contact Analysis, 3D Steady State Rolling at various speeds, and 3D Braking and Traction.
